Flood of 2013, Iowa City and Surrounding Area, June 3, 2013
The Iowa River overflows its banks near the Iowa River Power Dam adjacent to 1st Ave/Hayden Fry Way in Coralville Monday June 3, 2013. Flooding continues throughout the Iowa River water basin, however the forecast has improved with the current clear weather conditions. The Coralville Reservoir is expected to peak June 6 at 710 feet, two feet short of the top of the dam. (Justin Torner/Freelance for the Press-Citizen)
