Water levels have inundated CRANDIC Park in Iowa City, but the historically flood prone Coralville Strip remain dry due to river wall and flood mitigation improvements Monday June 3, 2013. Flooding continues throughout the Iowa River water basin, however the forecast has improved with the current clear weather conditions. The Coralville Reservoir is expected to peak June 6 at 710 feet, two feet short of the top of the dam. (Justin Torner/Freelance for the Press-Citizen)
