Second-ranked Iowa City West came through with a strong second half after trailing at the midpoint to eliminate No. 6 Waukee (20-6), 64-50, in a Class 4A semifinal at the girls state basketball tournament Friday afternoon at Wells Fargo Arena. West (24-1) advances to the championship game for the second straight year; the Women of Troy face No. 4 Ankeny for the title at 8 p.m. Saturday.
