The #87 Iowa D (Brandon Ung) boat starts out the Head of the Iowa Mens Novice 4+ Final near CRANDIC Park on the Iowa River on the way to a 20th place finish with a time of 18:50.292, 31.16% behind the winning Wisconson team. The Head of the Iowa was held on a 4000m stretch of the Iowa River from CRANDIC park to the IMU pedestrian bridge between teams from Creighton, Drake, Iowa State, Marquette, Colorado, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Iowa and the Hawkeye Rowing Club.
