Cooridor CANstruction 2012

Jessica Kramer of the Carlson Design Team of Iowa City assembles cans into letters as teammates Yolanda Cruz and Jessie Clark work in the background Saturday morning at the Coral Ridge Mall. Architects, engineers, local students, and youth groups built structures Saturday morning out of cans to be donated to the HACP Food Reservoir and be distributed to Linn and Johnson County food pantries and crisis centers. The teams had from 8 until 11 AM to assemble their constructions at the Coral Ridge Mall and were judged on their creations.
