Monarch Tagging at F.W. Kent Park
Sophie Zack, 6, of Clear Creek Elementary releases a Monarch buterfly after it had been captured and tagged on September 15th, 2012 at the Conservation Education Center at F.W. Kent Park in Tiffin. Participants learned about the life cycle of the Monarch butterfly and then assisted in the capture and tagging of them as part of a project that helps scientists learn about the migration of the butterfly as well as details of their .lives.
